Hi, I'm Daniel and I am a Traveller Addict.

I have been using sense the late 70s.

Thanks for allowing me to join in this meeting.

Hello,

I am rust (Rudolf), a long-time (and "old as dirt") Traveller fan from Germany,
interested in almost everything that has to do with science fiction, science
fiction roleplaying, and especially water worlds.

Thank you for letting me in. :D

Welcome, Daniel! We're all addicts of one game universe/rules or another; there is no shame in brotherhood!

I started with the LBB Traveller way back in '79. Since then, I've played CT, Megatraveller and T20 Traveller, Twilight 2000, The Morrow Project, Space Opera, and both d6 and d20 Star Wars.

Currently, I am trying to get a T20 game going...

I've mixed my stuff. Some CT, MGT, a little T20, and some home made stuff. :P

And yes, Brotherhood is nice.

Daniel

I have not touched it in years. Sadly, I don't even own most of the stuff I once had for it. I have to admit that I did not particularly care for the system itself, but they had some good ideas for a campaign world/ central premise.

Sigh, now I am thinking about setting up a campaign, probably using the T20 rules. Gaa, way too much work, and the current crop of players would not appreciate it anyway.

I bought Traveller with change left over from buying SPI's "Airwar" back in late '77
I've never turned back.
I ended up using MegaTrav rules, heavily house-ruled with additions from other editions, but I am not a collector and haven't bought many supplements, etc in a couple of decades...its hard to spend money to buy a game I basically already own, ya know?
I have no group to play with now, so I tinker with rules and ideas in a totally non-otu version of the Islands campaign ( almost nothing taken from the otu...and 3d to boot! ). I prefer lower tech than the typical TU and tend to be a bit of a gearhead and world-building maven....
I'm also fairly opinionated, but I try to avoid arguing about anything; I know my way is not the only, or even widely accepted way of doing things.

I'd like to thank Gruffty for opening this place for trading ideas about Trav with fellow fans.
May it stay flameless and troll-free.

Richard
