I'm BACK!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the long absense - a million reasons, all of them stupid, have kept me away. I finally got everything straightened out and hope to begin contributing regularly again.

I missed all of you! :)

Hi, just heard about this forum while surfing G+. SF RPGs I enjoy are Classic Traveller, FASA Star Trek, Metamorphosis Alpha, Gamma World, Fading Suns, Rogue Trader. I'm also happy to mix SF elements into my fantasy RPGs.

I'm old and set in my ways, so dislike learning new game systems. I also grow quickly dissatisfied with rules that are "too detailed." My preferred gaming style is somewhat pulpish.

So I stick to Classic Traveller, but keep things simple. FASA Trek, but I ignore some of the rules. For MA/GW, the next time I actually run things I may bring things more into line with my favorite fantasy rules, 1st ed AD&D. Fading Suns and Rogue Trader will get either the Chaosium Basic Roleplaying treatment, or Traveller.

Anyway, happy to be here!
