My fiancée and I had a son on February 5th at 3:19 pm. 8 lb 5 oz, 50 cm. He had blue eyes and a blond fuzz which darkened (no idea if he'll keep it).

Unfortunately, due to our living circumstances we had to give him up for adoption. I haven't put it up online because we're keeping it from my parents, whom I live with, because of my controlling mother.

That sounds tough. I'm glad the little guy is healthy, sorry to hear that you're in such a tough spot. I can't imagine the turmoil of your emotions, but I wish you and your fiancée may find the strength to get through this, and the best of good fortune for your son.

Thanks to you both. It is hard but I know it's what's best for our son.

We have an open adoption so we will get to see him every once in a while.

I do have sympathy for those who have to do adoption but for whatever reason can't have an open adoption. Hard as mine is that has to be harder.

He turned a year old on Feb. 5th. This is after I broke up with his mother due to personal differences due only in part to the adoption.

Fortunately his adoptive parents send, well me anyways, pictures. (His mother left for parts elsewhere and I'm deliberately avoiding her. Hard nasty breakup and all.) He has the same nose as the daughter of one of my cousins!

That's very kind of the adoptive parents to keep you in the loop. I hope that it continues.

He's a bit over 1.5 years old now and has figured out that the remote for their stereo goes to it (apparently he loves music).
He also has a few words and babbles a bit more, expecting them to understand it. (Toddler logic, 'nuff said).
