I've just updated the phpbb3 software here from 3.0.6 to 3.0.8, all seems to have gone without a hitch.

The board's been down for the past 30 mins or so as a result - sorry if anyone was in the middle of writing anything to post here during that period, but it should be all back up and running now!

So, is there any way to put a Mark Forums Read someplace (even if under User Control Panel)?

Using Delete All Board Cookies also logs you out!

There already is one.

Look at the Board index page
Just above the colomun listed as Last Post, you should find the words

Mark forums read

No, he is not here.

Honestly, he is not here. If he was the online light would be on.

This is just a simple text message.

Have nice day.

As dave said, if you look at the main index you'll see "Mark Forums Read" in the top right.

Yeah, I do that too (in fact, I just stay logged in and have a bookmark to the New Posts page and go straight to that). Unfortunately I don't think I can put a universal link to "Mark Forums As Read" on the new posts page.

Come to think about it, I do believe the only time I have seen it was on VBulletin powered boards. I will have to check some of the phpBB boards I go to.

15/9/12: The board software has been updated from 3.0.10 to 3.0.11. No new features in this update - apparently it's just a bug fix.
