I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this, but what the hey.
How does one upload photos onto a post?
I have a Mac and on Dragonsfoot it didn't work and looked like this:

Help?

Click the Post Reply button to take you to the full post editor. Scroll down and you'll see some options for attaching files. That's the way to go.

What Vile suggests is how to attach photos to the end of messages - we'd prefer that people just use img tags to show images in posts though. If you just want to show a photo in the message, you need to put the full http URL between [img] tags.

e.g.
[ img]http://www.sfrpg.org.uk/phpBB3/download/file.php?avatar=967_1305340048.jpg[/ img] (without the spaces)

would look like this:

Yes!
I assume that only internet pictures can be used, right?

(The picture is Astra Wisp, my PC)

The img tags are for pictures that are already online, yes. You could always use something like http://flickr.com to upload images there and then you can link to those directly.

Yeah, from Xendor's question I assumed he was talking about images on his hard drive. As EDG say, putting your images in an online store and linking to them is a better option.

Grrr.

Now I have issues even getting the photo online to a viable photo dump (my blog is acting up)

Is it worth it to get a Photobucket account?

Personally I'd recommend Flickr.
