I must say that's another nice cover, although I have a long-held abhorrence for Xboats. And there is a very neat article for creating a Traveller universe which is not crammed full of established human (or other) colonies - by some guy called Hazelhoff or something. :geek:

And I'm happy to see that Issue #001 has made it and more are on the way. Fanzines fill a Traveller gap which isn't quite filled by Mongoose, 3rd party publishers or fan websites.

The February 2010 issue of Freelance Traveller magazine has been posted to our website for you to download. This month, we're yet bigger again - a full thirty pages of content. Don't let that stop YOU from writing and sending us Stuff, though - we can always use good material.

We've also updated the site to include web versions of the articles from January.

Come download, read, and tell us what you think!

I downloaded Issue 1 and Issue 2 today, and in my view they
are both interesting and useful - well done. :D

What I like most are the reviews, because without a FLGS near-
by where I could take a look at new publications reviews are my
only way to get an impression whether some new product would
be of any use to me.

The articles are quite good, although I can only mine them for
ideas, because my settings are too different from the Third Im-
perium and similar settings to use the material unchanged. How-
ever, good stuff to mine for ideas is always most welcome.

The March 2010 issue of Freelance Traveller magazine has been posted to our website for you to download. This month's issue sports twenty-two pages of Traveller goodness like we've been trying to bring you all along. We can still always use new material, so don't let ourn continues apparent success stop YOU from writing and sending us Stuff - we can always use good material, and our continued success really does depend on getting that Stuff.

We've also updated the site to include web versions of the articles from February.

Come download, read, and tell us what you think!

We've had some computer problems with the computer that manages the master copy of the Freelance Traveller Web Site and on which we generate the magazine. Virtually all the data is recoverable, but it's going to take time. Because of that, we are expecting a delay in the release of the April issue of Freelance Traveller. We'll keep you informed...

We've gotten our problems mostly straightened out, and are currently working diligently to produce the April issue of Freelance Traveller - look for it to appear this weekend, March 27 or 28!

Some people have expressed confusion; the website was never down (unless our host had some minor downtime that we never noticed); it was only the actual production of the forthcoming issue that was affected, because of problems with the computer that we use for the actual work in FrontPage (for website changes), Publisher (for laying out the magazine), and Acrobat (for actually generating the PDF files you download).

We've had some real-life issues come up, partly computer related, partly not. We're not going to be able to get the issue out this weekend - but we're working on getting it out as soon as possible. This is definitely a temporary thing; we don't anticipate it taking too long to get straightened out - but until it does, it has absolute priority.

Our apologies...
