WHOOPS!

This month, we took a real body-blow to our available time, and we simply won't be able to get a May issue out on anything resembling a reasonable schedule. So, sadly, we're going to skip May, and put out a combined May/June issue later. That issue will be larger than normal, to make up for missing this one, and will carry both numbers and both dates. Watch for it in about two or three weeks!

The May/June 2012 issue of Freelance Traveller Magazine is ready for download!

We apologize for missing last month, but we hope you'll accept our attempt to make up for it - we've brought you a full fifty pages of Traveller goodness, including several articles for use with the recently-released 2300AD setting for Mongoose Traveller.

This issue's theme is, naturally, 2300AD, and represents the official start of our support for that setting. You can look forward to seeing more 2300AD articles in the future, and we have started accepting them as submissions. As usual, what we print will depend on what you write, so write on!

This month's (well, this two-month's) issue is available from our main website at http://www.freelancetraveller.com/magazine/ and our mirror at http://freelancetraveller.downport.com/ (select the link for Magazine Downloads). Download, enjoy, and feel free to share!

The latest issue of Freelance Traveller, a combined #035/036, is now posted for download!

This issue, our featured article set is by Sam Swindell, a collection of three articles centered around the starship Crimson Folly. Other noteworthy articles include a reprint of a pre-magazine RISUS conversion for Traveller, and a new passage type from Jason Barnabas.

Because of ... interference ... from Real Life during November, we've given you a double issue this time around. That means 56 pages of what we hope you'll agree is goodness for your Traveller enjoyment.

This being our December issue, we've also included a complete listing of issues and page numbers for every article we've printed during 2012. This listing does NOT count against the 56 pages we mention above! There's also a separate document available for download with the same kind of listing, but for every issue of the magazine since our introductory issue in November of 2009.

Download this issue NOW at our usual locations: The main site at http://www.freelancetraveller.com/magazine/ and our mirror at http://freelancetraveller.downport.com (select the link for magazine downloads - giving you a direct URL doesn't actually work on Downport).

GAK!

It's being posted now, as I speak - I'd set everything up to go at a click, and then my box went a little nuts, and sent the announcements off before I could stop it! It'll be up in no more than a few minutes...

Sorry!

Could you consider using a font for the main text that doesn't have an annoying 'squiggle' between a letter and a "t" that follows it? It's pretty distracting, serves no practical purpose, and it does actually detract from the readability of the text.
