Company representatives are encouraged to set up a separate Company Representation Account (CRA) for their company. CRAs should be used to post adverts for products in the News & Announcements
section of the boards. CRAs can also be used as the "official" account with which to respond to questions about products (such as release dates, rules questions, etc).Who Should Use the CRA?
The members of the company that the CRA represents should agree who has login rights to the CRA. Good internet security practice is for only one person in a company to know the login details of their company's CRA, but it is for each company to determine if one or more members can access their company's CRA.Misuse of CRAs
Whilst we do not expect to see it happen, any misuse of a CRA by anyone involved with the company the CRA represents will result in action by the Management team, which may include banning and/or account deletion of the CRA and/or individuals.Remember: the CRA represents your company and its reputation. Misuse of a CRA can cause problems beyond those encountered with the Admins on this board.General Account Rules
Please read the general rules about accounts shown here
, specifically items 2. and 3.CRA Guidance1. CRA Registration
If you would like to set up a CRA for your company, simply register a new account with SFRPG and use your company name (or an abbreviated form of your company name) as the user/member name.2. CRA Email Account
When you register your CRA account, you will need a valid email address. If you have your own email addresses that contain your domain name, try to use "sfrpg
@<yourdomainname>.whatever.wherever". Please remember that we deliberately block gmail, yahoo, live, hotmail and aol accounts (and a few other free accounts) due to spam issues, so if you use one of those email providers, please follow the guidance shown here.3. CRA Avatar Image
Where possible, you should use your company's logo or title bar for the account's avatar. If you experience problems uploading your company image, please contact one of the Admins and we'll do our best to help.4. CRA Signature
Remember to include URLs/links to your company's website and forums (if you have them up and running) in your CRA signature. You can also include "now available" and "coming soon" information about your products in your signature.
