A second Squaddies scenario, The Dam-Sitters http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/214469/Squaddies-The-Dam-Sitters is now available. There’s a big hydroelectric dam up in the mountains. Intelligence thinks the enemy might make an attempt to destroy it – either by direct assault or terrorist sabotage. The people who work and live immediately downstream would prefer that a squillion tons of watery death did not come their way! It’s the turn of the PCs’ platoon to do some dam protection. Oh, and you have some journalists in tow, so try not to do anything too embarrassing while the cameras are rolling...

If you want a mil SF setting, try The USE-Akurran War, with a nice cover by Andy Bigwood: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/217097/Squaddies-The-USEAkurran-War Squaddies is a system agnostic, military science fiction RPG. The tech level is hard (ish) science fiction - think bullets and body armour, not lasers and forcefields.

The USE-Akurran War pdf includes:
• A guide to both sides in the war (the United States of Earth and the Akurran Republic) and the history of their conflict.
• The technology level, including battlefield communications, and bits of kit the PCs are assumed to be familiar with.
• Bios and story seeds for a whole platoon of NPCs for the players to interact with.
• Replacement NPCs – to bulk out your party or to replace the regular NPCs when they get horribly killed.
• Star maps for the areas of space colonised by humans, and a few snippets of information on each star system.
• Planetary maps for three biosphere worlds and data on each of these planets.
• Aliens - the biology and psychology of the sentient alien species, the Swampies, Yitteral and Lifim.
• Character creation notes – hints and guidance on fitting this setting to your chosen RPG system.
• Background information for any players who opt to play genetically engineered ‘cannon fodder’: the gennys.

The setting is SPOLIER FREE - players as well as GMs can read anything in here.

Reviews welcome.

Ta muchly! Reviews welcome - especially any feedback on stuff you would expect to find in the setting which isn't there.

Additional Squaddies adventures are available on DriveThruRPG

Sector 37: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/220648/Squaddies-Sector-37?src=hottest_filtered
Someone keeps getting a weapons lock – or worse, actual missile hits – on aircraft overflying an agricultural area. The PCs’ company is sent to track the culprits down and make them see the error of their ways (with extreme prejudice), whilst simultaneously trying to deal with dodgy locals and angry aliens.

Human Shields: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/224382/Squaddies-Human-Shields?term=squaddies&test_epoch=0
The enemy have taken over a small university campus, fortified it as a base, and appear (from satellite photos) to be keeping human shields (POWs and civilians) scattered around the place to discourage your side from shelling the crap out of it. They also might – without realising it – have got their hands on a prisoner with huge propaganda value. The PCs’ mission is to sneak to where they can recce the situation, get eyes on the POWs and see if this Person of Interest is there. Then – if possible – mount a rescue and/or act as forward observers to direct fire onto the bits of the base not draped in your own guys. Options (from realistic to cinematic) are given for player groups to liberate some or all of the prisoners.
