Anyone watch this show's opening episode? Other than a rather sophisticated robot, I thought it had more than a bit of a Traveller vibe.

We're enjoying it so far. The opening credits look like they were made in 1993, but the story and characters are compelling.

I've only seen the first couple of episodes but I REALLY like this.

Never read the comics, so I am enjoying it as it unfolds.

It's interesting to me, after 5 episodes or so, how vague the setting is. There's a Galactic Authority, and they're slowly heading toward the "outer colonies" in the hope that they won't be recognized out there, but other than that...

I have to admit, the more I watch this show the more it reminds me of a Traveller game I ran in the mid-80s. Not that I am trying to take credit for the idea of the show, but there are a striking number of similarities with my game...

I lost the first 7 episodes of the show as my cable company-supplied DVR crapped out. So we only managed to have episode 8 through the end of the first season. I don't know why SyFy never re-ran the first season. What better way to get people excited about season 2 than to let them binge watch/record the first season? And we (my wife & I) didn't want to pay an exorbitant amount of money to watch individual episodes (onDemand or Amazon-not on Prime), so we waited for it to come out on Netflix, which just happened as season 2 launched here in the States.

We just watched the first disk with the first three episodes. The mystery has us intrigued. Yeah, I agree that it has a little bit of a Traveller vibe to it, especially the morally-challenged mercenaries aspect. ;)

We'll stick with it (and have season 2 recorded) in the hopes that it stays entertaining.

Season 2 started last weekend. Still like it very much.

Although, I have to admit, as they find out more about there universe, I find the total amnesia thing getting a bit tiring. I say they should find a way to restore their memories and then have to deal with their old vs. new personalities... THAT would be more interesting than the "You are the only one who doesn't know what is going on now" storylines.

Still watching though!

Finished watching season two, and I believe that I enjoyed it more that season one. The actors seem more comfortable with their characters, and the storyline has advanced.

It looks like you got your wish, Cyborg, at least as far as #4 is concerned.

Agreed. I think they have handled that particular issue quite well.

There are some characters/unanswered questions that I am looking forward to though.

The alternate reality was interesting, but seemed really easy to move between and the possible implications of that were not really explored... yet.
