I fear I saw this as it was leaving theatres so if you haven't seen it then you may have to hurry, but I really enjoyed Passengers. It's a fun Scifi/love story with a hell of a moral dilemna in it. The ship looks very cool too.

I second the recommendation.

I think all good scifi stories revolve around a good "what if" question. The one in Passengers - the moral dilemma - is a doozy. I think I probably would have done the same thing, after much agonising.

(also, I just discovered that "dilemma" specifically means "a situation requiring a choice between equally undesirable alternatives" which is very apt here - I thought it just meant a difficult choice previously. And also that it's not actually spelt "dilemna" as I thought).

My wife heard that it got panned. So it's better than what it's getting credit for?

After seeing Rogue One twice in two weeks, I think I've exhausted my movie theater attendance limits. Soooooo many trailers...

I dunno, I've never given a damn about what critics say, because they usually hate the films I like anyway. :P

All I can say is that I really liked it.

I very much enjoyed it.

I was a bit confused at the beginning as he wanders the ship alone - not like the trailers - and then there is the "AH HA" moment.

Personally, I liked it very much and recommend it to anyone (when it comes out on DVD).
