Regarding your Sol Sector Map:

There have been a couple of Brown Dwarfs discovered pretty close to Sol since the OV map was created, have you added those to your map?

Where can I get their data? They'll be added ASAP!

I have always found Sol Station to be a great resource.

It has Luhman 16 and WISE 0855-0714 added to the 7 other stars within 10 ly (3 parsecs)

What I really like about Sol Station is at the bottom of each entry he has a list of "nearby stars" to that star, so you could create a map of the nearby area to any listed star. In some ways, given the compression of 3D into 2D that Traveller forces you into, this might be a better way to make a map.

I used to use RECONS (best list of the 100 nearest stars out there) but the link doesn't work any more so I will have to dig it out.

Wikipedia also has a good list of nearby stars.

Do you still have my old "flattening" method at hand? Right now I can't find the old method I used for OV back in '08 or '09. I'd like to compute where would these stars be located on my map?

Also here's the RECONS list from 2012:

If the distances on the Solstation map are correct, I´d almost say WISE 0855-0714 should be one hex further out on your map, two hexes directly coreward of Luhman 16.

I like the way you nudged things to make some nice "mains" on the map. "Real" star maps aren't very kind to jump-1 ships.
