I know a lot of you produce neat-looking Traveller subsector maps - how do you do it? Interested parties are interested! :geek:

There are a couple of subsector map generators on the Internet, the one I used for my campaigns is this one:

That's very nice, Rust. Quite professional looking. If it didn't put in the trade routes, allowed for allegiance codes, and allowed one to export it outside of that campaignwiki thing, I'd seriously consider using it. My method is slow, tedious, and not nearly as nice: I edit subsector templates in Paint.NET.

You could use Omer's python script and then upload the .sec data into the Traveller Map.

Typing in something that looks like .sec formatting directly into the map interface: probably less fun.

I've been using sec2pdf:

I've made a few small changes to it, but it works just fine as is.

You can use the system at https://travellermap.blogspot.com/ to produce your map in several formats once you have the UWPs. You have to use the underlying code. examples are in the notes
The https://zhodani.space/ site has several generators to create your sub-sector UWPs. There are several other sites out there too.
