Here's a couple of .blend files I found by Greyoxide on blenderartists.org
They are a group of untextured 'parts' for making spaceships. Mix and match these parts, scale them, rotate them, etc. and put them together to make very nice spaceships.
These files on blendswap.com indicate that Greyoxide has waived all copyright and related rights to their content, which is very generous of him. ( CC0 http://wiki.creativecommons.org/CC0 )

Here's an example of what sort of ships these parts can make.

Honestly, he is not here. If he was the online light would be on.

This is just a simple text message.

Have nice day.

Playing around with it, I created a "Gazelle Class" analogue for my sandbox quadrant... the "Springbok Class close escort"
It'll be used by the Shigirma Hegemony's Naval Forces.

untextured so far

I think I'll start organizing the pieces to suit me better and begin adding my own parts. Some his his pieces have inspired me to do more.

Xendor - do you have Blender at all? This is an add-on for that program. You won't be able to use it without that.

You can download Blender from here - http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/ - but you'll need to do the tutorials etc before you'll be able to make the most of the files.

I actually have blender, but I think there is something here with the Mac side of things. I'm going to ask my dad to help.
