Well, that's what we call ourselves. What the universe calls us doesn't really matter does it?

I see us as a "lost colony" that regressed and now has a group that is reclaiming the stars.

Parity much.

... Who all just happen to be Soc 5?

Would you be in the market for a crewmember with a Soc of 12 and skills of a more Noble/Diplomat nature?
[Admin, Advocate, Carouse, Diplomat, Persuade, etc.]

I just don't know what kind of 'adventures' you plan on having.
Is the ability to talk a benefit or hinderance?

Sure, this is an exploration mission. Could always use a first contact specialist.

Well, Devalyn is the misfit of the family, that is why she is in the Scouts. Her soc is so low because she spent more time in Boarding/Reform school than because she is from a family with money...

Not really EMO, just sick of playing the games of hiding the technology from the locals (grubbers...)

Actually its more a case of offering tech to orthodox Amish. No mater how hard you try to sell them on the idea, they just don't want it.

90% of Versi's population is techo-apathetic.

How are they towards tech medicine? Do they prefer holistic stuff over drugs, etc, frown on cybernetics, for example? Would my character have to practice medicine in secret?

Are there any TL or Law Level limits on gear we buy?

I was thinking Versis limits, but I'm not sure how you want to do the Law Level stuff...

THANX

Med tech is the only thing that is openly accepted. It is currently at TL9. The idea of mixing metal and flesh is truly detestable to these folks. It actually caused a Riot about 80 years ago when a visitor from the Imperium with a cyberlimb thought it would be a good idea to dress in local garb. The fact that she also had a talent for mimicking accents didn't help either.

As you guys have traveled quite a bit, its all possible that you have picked things up on other worlds. As the Imperium is only five weeks away at J2, its more than plausible that you guys have even been their.

In other words, Any some what questionable items should to be covered with character history.
