Just got a battle rep from my buddy V. He was playing Eldar versus Donnachas Necrons.

Necron Army:
1x Monolith
3x 10 man Warrior Squads
3x Wraiths
3x Heavy Destroyers
1x Tomb Spyder
1x Necron Lord with Veil of Darkness

Eldar Army:
1x Farseer with Doom, Fortune, Spirit Stones, Runes of Wit and Spear
10x Howling Banshee with Exarch + Executioner
Jain-Zar
8x Striking Scorpions with Exarch + Claw
13x Guardians with Scat Laser + SpiritSeer with Embolden
2x 5 man Pathfinder Squads
1x Wraithlord
2x WaveSerpents with Shuri. Cannon, Stones, Vectorered Eng, Star Engines.

Battle Report:

Turn 1:
Necrons:
Necrons marched forward. Wraiths turbo boosted out into the open. Warriors shuffled a bit in their buildings. One of which was their HQ. Monolith trundled forward a bit. Nothing was within firing range for them. Heavy Destroyers moved forward. Tomb Spyder generated a scarab swarm without taking a wound.

Eldar:
Eldar Pathfinders, one group was on HQ while the other group was to the right flank of the HQ. Both groups shot at the Wraiths, killed 2 out of 3. Guardians open fire with their scatter lasers on the remaining wraith, pinged. Wraithlord fired with his Scatterlasers and killed the last Wraith. Guardians along with Wraithlord proceeded to move towards the forest towards the Necron's HQ. WaveSerpent filled with the Banshees, Jain-Zar and Farseer moved forwared slowly, trying to take advantage of some early shooting, was out of range. Scorpions in other Waveserpent was outflanking.

Turn 2
Necrons:
Necrons marched forward some more. Two squad of Warriors continued with their undead shuffle within their buildings. The 3rd squad of warriors out in the open proceeded to march towards the Eldar HQ. The Heavy Destroy squad moved up and shot at the Waveserpent and managed to immoblise it. Nothing else was within range for shooting.

Eldar:
Having lost their pimped up ride, the Farseer Fortuned the group inside the Waveserpent and they all disembarked and proceeded to run towards the Necron HQ. No sign of the Scropions yet. Wraithlord and Guardians ran into the forest to get cover. They gave up shooting to run a bit deeper into it. The 2 pathfinder squads opened up on the Warrior Squad in the open and took down 2, pinning them.

Turn 3
Necrons:
The Monolith trundled a bit closer to the centre of the board, teleported the warriors into a grassy field beside it. One of the warriors got back up. More shuffling from the other Warrior squads. The Heavy Destroyers attempted to shoot at the Wraithlord but managing to destroy a couple of trees in the forest. The Pariahs moved forward and shot at the guardians killing 2 of them.

Eldar:
More running from the Eldar Squads. All heading towards the Necron HQ. Wraithlord ran out into the open towards the Monolith. Gave up its shooting to run a bit closer. The 2 pathfinder squads continued with their sniping at the Warrior Squad out in the grassy field. They took casualties but made their WBB rolls.
Scorpions came in on reserves and their Waveserpent speed flat out from the right flank towards the Necron HQ and stopped within 4".

Turn 4
Necrons:
The other warriors started moving out of their buildings. The necron lord teleported himself and the group of warriors on their HQ smack bang within 2" in front of the Eldar HQ. His group opened fire on the pathfinders killing 1. Tomb Spyder moved forward towards the Eldar HQ as well. The 3 Heavy Destroyers opened up on the Scropion's Transport and managed to destroy a weapon. The massives Monolith trundled towards the forest where the guardians and Wraithlord was and deposited another group of warriors out in the open. The Pariahs shot at the transport as well, but only managed to shake the crew inside with their glancing shots.

Eldar:
The Guardians themselves moved half of the squad outside the forest. The Banshees with the Farseer had managed to skirt around the forest now, but still no closer to the Necron HQ. Farseer tried to Fortune the group, succeeded and took a wound from perils of the warp. Seeing the mass of Necron Warriors all bearing down on the Eldar HQ, the Scorpion's Transport sped flatout and plonked itself in front of the 2 warrior squads, to the right of the Eldar HQ. The Wraithlord at this point Assaulted the Monolith but failed to even dent it. (Rolled 3 and 1 on penetration). The pathfinders opened up on the Necron Lord with his squad and failed to do any significant damage.

Turn 5:
Necrons:
Monolith moved forward towards the Guardians. Not far enough to tank shock them. It then proceeded to gauss flay everything within 12", which included the Guardians, Wraithlord and the Banshees. 3 Guardians died, 2 Banshees died and nothing happened to the Wraithlord. The Pariahs fired their weapons on the Guardians hoping to wipe them out or break them, 1 more died but they didn't break. The 3 Heavy Destroyer tried to put a dent on the Wraithlord, but the armour was too think for them to penetrate. Tomb Spyder floated towards the Waveserpent. The 2 Warrior Squad fired all their weapons on the transport, glancing it and managed to destroy the dreaded Twin-Linked Shuriken Catapults of Doom! The Necron Lord opened fire and didn't manage to kill the pathfinder squad camped on the Eldar HQ, so himself and his entire squad Assaulted them, killing them all in one vicious strike. This allowed them to claim the Eldar HQ. The Tomb Spyder then assaulted the Transport but failed to penetrate the armour.

Eldar:
Wraithlord now no longer within 12" of the Spirit Seer, had to test for Wraithsight. Rolled a 1, yay, shuts down due to seeing shinies and sparklies. The Guardians move a bit closer to the Necrons HQ and the Banshees finally make it close enough to an enemy Squad. The Scorpions get out of their transport, preparing to Assault. Their Transport flying closer to their own HQ to contest. The remaining pathfinder squad take potshots at the Necron Lord and his squad, killing 1 warrior. The guardians give up their shooting to fleet, rolled 1, 4" away from the Necron HQ!!!!

The Squad of Banshees, lead by Jain-Zar, fleet to get closer to the only enemy squad in the vicinity, the Pariahs. The Pariahs had been Doomed by the Farseer at the start of the turn as well. The Assault commenced. Plenty of hits in from the Banshees, about half. Rolling to wound, managed a poxy 3. Thankfully for Doom, re-rolling managed to finish off the squad. Consolidated and ended up within 3" of the Necron HQ to contest at least.

The Striking Scorpions assaulted the closest squad of Warriors and managed to kill 6 warriors on their strike. The Warriors hit back but the Scorpions armour proved resilient. Sweeping advance allowed the Scorpions to finish off the warriors and consolidate right in front of the Necron Lord and his squad of warriors.

So ends turn 5. Necrons roll to see if games continues, a 1 was rolled so game ends.

Final Result: Draw

Conclusion:
Like Donnacha said, not a lot happened. Mainly just the 2 armies running away from each other and towards the opposite HQ. Once again, the dice gods favoured Donnacha.
