I'm thinking of maybe running a demo of Stars Without Number for the local community and am looking for a good, self-contained adventure which could be run within 3-4 hours of play. Now, I know that one of the main strengths of SWN is sandbox campaign play, but I'm looking for a way to introduce new players to the game (most of whom currently play D&D).

Any suggestions?

Depends on the edition. As a grog myself, leading SWN was pretty much learning a new language. Those new-fangled 3ers probably won't need much introduction on basic rules, but a general overview is good. I haven't been over to the drivethru site in a while so I don't know what else to say but good luck.
